Roofing
Our experienced team members can work with a wide variety of materials, both natural and man-made. This includes slate, wood, metal, and copper, as well as EPDM, TPO, PVC, and asphalt, setting us apart from the competition with the adaptability to install and maintain the perfect roof to suit your needs.
Even after installing your roof, Hahnel Bros. Co. can maintain it over time. We’ll perform regular inspections, allowing our team to catch the need for repairs early before anything becomes a major structural problem. It’s our goal to keep you safe, warm, and dry – that means that any roof from us is one that you can trust.

Low Slope Roofs
Barrett Roofing Co., pioneers in the field of low slope multi-ply roofing, asked Hahnel Bros. Co. in the 1920s to be their installer of choice for a twenty year bondable roof system for the state of Maine. Since then, manufacturers of thermoplastic and thermoset membranes such as Johns-Manville, FiberTite , Carlisle, GAF, Elevate, Duro-Last and Sarnafil, have followed suit.
A properly-installed membrane roof commonly lasts 30 or more years. In fact, they can even last longer with regularly scheduled maintenance. We pride ourselves on installing a low slope roofing system that will stand the test of time.
Steep Slope Roofs
With painted metal roofing systems becoming more and more popular choices for property owners, it was only natural that we would become a leader in this area as well. Since our beginning as an ornamental sheet metal company, we have continued to provide the industry with the finest quality of sheet metal work in the state, and that includes steep slope roofing systems. From slate to asphalt shingle, painted metal, copper, or other systems, we have the expertise to meet your steep slope needs.
