We use cutting edge technology to install and maintain duct systems across Maine, including computer controlled plasma burning tables, automated press brakes, and sheet metal duct coil lines. All of our ductwork fabrication materials are available in sizes from 26 gauge to 16 gauge. The fabrication and installation processes we employ are in compliance with the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) HVAC duct construction standards.
Ductwork has a variety of applications, including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), dust collection, fume exhaust, cyclones and blowers, pneumatic conveying systems, and more.
Material Handling
Hahnel Bros. Co. maintains over 250,000 pounds of both ferrous and non-ferrous metal. Our state-of-the-art shops have standardized fabrication machinery on ¼” thick by 120” long mild steel. Our inventory of hot rolled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel plates is the best in the industry. Our foremen can accommodate projects requiring MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, angle rolling, and machine plate rolling.
Our heavy gauge ventilation systems are designed in accordance with SMACNA industrial construction standards for paper mills & manufacturing facilities.
